Scope of Project:
Brayman completed the ramps for SR279 to the Fort Pitt Tunnels during the construction season of 1997. Since the ramps were located at one of the main arteries leading into Pittsburgh, heavy traffic was a tremendous challenge. Another challenge was the stringent time table as Ramp A had to be open in 137 calendar days and Ramp B had to be completed in only 90 days.
