Scope of Project:
Project consists of a new four (4) span steel structure bridge for CSX Railroad - located in Youngstown, OH. The new span will be 490 feet in length and located directly upstream of the existing bridge that will remain in service until the new bridge is completed. The existing bridge will be demolished upon completion of the new span. The substructure consists of six (6) each 8 foot diameter caissons with 7 foot diameter pier columns. The super structure will consist of two (2) each fascia girders per span with floor beams and intermediate diaphragms. A 29 foot wide concrete deck will be constructed that will provide service for two (2) sets of railroad tracks.
