Scope of Project:

This project was for the construction of a new four span curved steel girder structure that  connects SR 28 South to SR 279 South. The new construction included two abutments founded on 36" diameter caissons and three piers founded on various diameter single caissons. The new structure was built overtop of SR 279 and underneith SR 579. Tight vertical and horizontal clearances added to the chalenge of the project. New sign structures, traffic signal modifications, and ITS systems were included on the project.
