Scope of Project:

This project was awarded to furnish and install over 900 concrete drilled piers to support the elevated guideways and stations for the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project in Fairfax County, VA. The drilled piers range in diameter from two to 10 feet. Brayman Construction was contracted to furnish and install reinforcing cages and concrete, maintain complete quality control for all services and maintain/dispose of drill spoils. This project involves working in congested areas and has significant environmental controls in place so as not to harm the environment of the area. All shafts are MiniSID inspected for cleanliness and CSL tested for concrete integrity.
