Scope of Project:

This project consists of the construction of a dual 14 span steel aerial structure 1,755 feet in length along Reedsdale Street. Contract also includes foundation work for the structure, demolition of the 146,000 square foot Miller Printing Building, and miscellaneous utility and drainage work for the Port Authority of Allegheny County. The duration of the project is estimated to be 650 calendar days. This project is a continuation of the Port Authority's North Shore Connector Project - further extending the County's Light Rail System from underneath downtown Pittsburgh and the Allegheny River to the North Shore.

This project will support the County's efforts to revitalize Downtown Pittsburgh and the North Shore's residential areas, business districts, educational institutions, and entertainment developments.
