Scope of Project:
Brayman is a subcontractor for Washington Group International and was contracted for the construction of
the new barge unloading and mooring facility, as well as excavation supports for a new 400 foot long limestone storage tunnel. This project is part of the EPA ordered regulations for Flue Gas Desulphurization. Specifi cally, the projects consists of the construction of 12 new river cells – two (2) each 45 foot diameter, one (1) each 30 foot diameter, and nine (9) each 20 foot diameter. The project also includes the installation of a steel platform and walkway. |
