Scope of Project:

This project consisted of the rehabilitation of the South Millvale Avenue Bridge. The rehabilitation included: the strengthening of the deteriorated superstructure, replacement of the concrete deck, railing and lighting, removal of lead paint, refinishing of the structure's steel with high performance urethane paint. The ornate details of the replacement handrail panels were cut from 3/4 inch steel plate to recreate the appearance as originally installed in 1927.
